Static — free forever
The destination is baked into the pattern. Right for a WiFi password, a contact card, or a menu at a URL that will not move. It cannot be changed after printing and it cannot be counted — and it depends on nobody, including us.
Dynamic — from $5 a month
The pattern points at a short link we resolve. Change the destination after printing, count the scans, route by device or country. Cancel and it keeps redirecting — you only lose the ability to edit it.

Do QRFlowy QR codes expire?
No. A static code encodes its content directly, so there is nothing to expire and nothing to keep paying for — it works as long as the thing it points at exists. A dynamic code keeps redirecting even if you cancel your plan.
Do I need an account?
Not for static codes. The generator on this page needs no account, no card and no e-mail address. An account is only needed for dynamic codes, because those involve a redirect we operate on your behalf.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes, including on products, packaging and paid advertising. There is no licence fee, no attribution requirement and no watermark on anything the generator produces.
What happens to my dynamic codes if I stop paying?
They keep redirecting. You lose the ability to change destinations, to create new dynamic codes beyond the free allowance, and to see analytics older than a week. Custom domains are the one exception: they resolve for 90 days and are then released.
Is there a limit on how many times a code can be scanned?
No. Neither static nor dynamic codes have a scan limit, on any plan including the free one. A code on a poster that goes unexpectedly well does not stop working halfway through the month.
Can I put my logo in the middle without breaking the scan?
Yes, and the generator checks rather than assumes. It decodes the finished image and tells you if a scanner cannot read it, so you find out before the print run rather than after — a logo covers modules the code needs, and there is a real limit to how large it can be.
