Terms of Service

QRFlowy generates QR codes. A static code encodes your content directly, is made in your browser, is free, and needs no account. Once printed, its content cannot be changed by us or by anyone else — including you.

A dynamic code encodes a short link that we resolve to a destination you choose. You can change that destination after printing, and we count the scans. Dynamic codes need an account.

Every dynamic QR code you have already created keeps redirecting. Cancelling, downgrading, or letting a payment fail does not switch off a code you have printed. Redirect rules keep being applied, UTM parameters keep being appended, and scans keep being counted.

What you lose on cancelling is the ability to manage:

Beyond the free plan's allowance.

Analytics older than seven days

Your history is retained, not deleted. Resubscribing restores all of it.

Campaigns, bulk, smart routing, API

Paid features stop being available to use.

This is not a courtesy we could withdraw quietly. The service that answers a scan has no access to billing information at all, so it cannot decide to stop resolving your code because of a payment. That is a deliberate architectural choice.

If you point your own domain at QRFlowy, each hostname costs us money for as long as it exists. We would rather state this here than bury it: if you cancel, custom hostnames keep resolving for 90 days, and we e-mail you three times during that window. After that they are released.

Codes printed with our own redirect address are never time-limited. If you intend to print a code and then stop paying, use ours rather than your own domain.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your password to yourself, and for the accuracy of the e-mail address you give us — it is how we reach you about a failing destination or an expiring domain.

You must confirm your e-mail address before creating a dynamic QR code. A redirector with unverified accounts is a phishing tool, and our domain's reputation is what makes everyone's codes keep working.

You may not use QRFlowy to send people to malware, phishing pages, content that is illegal where you or they are, or anything designed to deceive someone about where they are going. You may not use it to disguise the destination of a link in order to get past a filter or a moderation system.

If a code is reported or detected as abusive we may disable it, which makes it answer with an explanation rather than a redirect, and we may suspend the account. We will tell you why. Report abuse to abuse@qrflowy.com.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any tax that applies where you are. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not pro-rated.

If we change a price we will tell existing customers by e-mail before it takes effect, and it will not apply to a period you have already paid for.

We do not promise that the service is never unavailable. We do treat the redirect path as the part that must not fail, and it is built to be independent of the rest of the product: it has its own service, its own cache, and no dependency on the dashboard, the database being reachable, or your subscription.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice by e-mail before discontinuing the service, and if we ever do, we will publish a way to keep existing redirects resolving.

What you point your codes at is yours. We claim no ownership of it and we do not use it for anything except running the service you asked for. We may keep the destination history of a code so that you can see what it used to point at.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If we change these terms we will change the date at the top, and we will e-mail account holders before a change that materially reduces what you get. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
